Admissions: Children usually attend from 2 to 5 years old. If you would like to apply for a place, we recommend you visit the nursery school and meet the staff. An application form is filled in and when the place is confirmed a refundable deposit of £20 is paid. When we can guarantee an immediate start, a deposit is not required. Please see our admission’s policy for further details. There is a small charge to cover the cost of printing materials such as name tags and place mats etc (£5). |
Special educational needs: We operate an inclusive approach, before a child with disability or special needs joins; there is a meeting with the principal, parents, and SENCO to discuss how the needs of the child are to be met. Please see the policy for further information. |
Settling in: Before children join the nursery we invite parent(s) to join the activities with their children for a pre-visit. During this visit we glean information about your child and you are able to meet your child’s keyworker. For further details, see our settling in policy. |
Fees: £13.50 per session. Children who qualify for Nursery Education Grant (normally the term following the third birthday) will have free sessions of 2½ hours. Parents are asked to pay a small top up fee of £4.40 per session, which covers time outside the funded session and all extra classes. There is also a lunch club for £1.50, if parents wish their children to attend. |
